The room is very small. The bed frames are cheap and very low. The one chair is from the late 1970’s and might support a toddler. Location was great as it’s far enough away from the pier but still walkable. We severely overpaid for the quality of this room.

Give it 3 starts we stayed last year love the location and the rooms are clean, the staff was on point with cleaning and making sure everyone had what they needed in the rooms. This year tho I booked again and little to my unfortunate events that keep happening im having surgery which we decided to cancel a month in advanced found out "their policy not hotels.com cause hotels tried resolve the situation for me as well" they will not cause its a holiday weekend" now I get this policy thing is acceptable when someone is canceling the week of or couple days cause then booking the room again would be harder. Taking someone's whole stay a month before hand because you are greedy and selfish is down right wrong. Especially when one of those days are not a holiday. You can book that room probably already have without no issue and will have that $$ and mine because you want to uphold a stupid policy YOU made to keep people's money in your pocket. Owners were very friendly when calling about room. Didn’t even make us put a deposit down. Even had GREAT food ideas! Train is behind it which runs often but not bad at all. For the value the room is WELL worth it! Give the mom & pop place a shot!

Our 9 day stay at Seagrass was very enjoyable. It's an excellent location to the beach, shopping, restaurants and the pier. Lisa and Pete the owners are so accommodating. Lisa was so helpful with recommendations of where to go and things to do if the weather wasn't a beach type day. A few minute drive to downtown Portland and so many restaurants, bars and shopping. Everyone was very pleasant and you felt welcomed from beginning to end. Our king ocean view room was very clean and mattress was firm. Housekeeping was all  boys who did a great job and said hello every day. Nice outdoor sitting area with grills and setups for you to cook. The grocery store was a short drive and had anything that you would need. Clean pool and plenty of lounging chairs. The cost of staying at Seagrass was reasonable compared to other motels in area. We would definitely stay with Lisa and Pete if we went back. Now we know why other reviews called it the little Gem.

Our stay was simply incredible. First, Lisa welcomed our family with so much kindness, taking time to speak to our kids. Anything we had to ask to the owners, we never felt like we were annoying and they were taking time to meet our needs  as well as possible. They even got beyond our expectations in terms of generosity, giving free stuff for our children. The motel was very clean and every details are taken care of. Peter seems to be always lookin forward to improve his establishment, and we can see him work from 7 am to 10 pm everyday, takin care of his customers even when he’s on a short break, speaking to every of his customers. It’s also very close to the beach (2 min) and downtown (4 min) by foot. Thanks for everything, hoping to see you again on our next visit.

Location was great, the Owner's were very nice. We didn't realize until late at night when we went back to the room to go to bed that there were no blankets on the beds. Typically they would be sandwiched between two sheets but there was nothing, just two sheets on each bed.  The room looked nothing like what was shown in the photos when booking, which looked cozy and inviting.
